I am so happy to have a new gas oven — it has been years since I’ve really been able to bake, and I almost forgot how much I enjoy it. I bought some white sparkling sugar, and I custom-dyed it to make these cookies except vegan (really easy to veganize!) in peppermint.

I also baked a crazy delicious cranberry pound cake, but I am still working on getting a good release on my bundt pan so no photos for now.
